Can Teaching Colour Digitally Completely Replace Teaching Colour Traditionally?
Hoon, Wendy Tan Siong
Online Submission
In recent years, the government in Singapore has invested a large amount of time and money in the fast-moving industry of digital media. Some schools have begun to increase their commitments and make the necessary readjustments to integrate digital content into the learning process. The outcome of these changes has indirectly affected the fundamental learning in the Design School. A certain amount of traditional method is still seen as relevant to the school programme, however, the traditional method of teaching colour will be replaced totally by the digital method. While the integration of digital media will be introduced, it will not be the only tool students will use in the classroom. [Abstract modified to meet ERIC guidelines.]
