On the basis of psychologically and philosophically oriented scientific resources, this article analyses philosophical aspects of personality development in the context of an educology of vocation. A classification of philosophical trends of personality development in educology is presented, as they are involved in vocational education and training. Also presented is an investigation of the impact of philosophical trends in an educology of vocation, as these trends are oriented toward persons and their productivity and skill development in problem solving. Finally, perspectives for methodological research continuity in educology are foreseen and conclusions are presented. (Contains 1 table and 3 figures.)
