The purpose of the service is to give legal opinion on topics of immediate concern, to review legal implications of school policies, and to provide information on legal issues and trends affecting all client schools. Involvement of a large number of diverse educational units (local school districts, intermediate school districts, community colleges, universities) in regional educational planning is becoming more prevalent.
