This qualitative descriptive case study explored discrimination and bullying of Muslim students in a public charter school district in a southwestern state. This study was designed to focus on the perspectives of 20 participants comprised of teachers and principals of the intermediate, middle, and high school in a public charter school district in a southwestern state. Interview questions about participants' perspectives on discrimination and bullying of Muslim students observed in their classes or school were designed to collect data from participants. NVivo 12 computer software was utilized for data transcripts and analysis. The study findings indicated that some participants did not fully address their understanding of Islamic cultural belief due to the participants' reasons and separation of state and school issues. However, other participants' responses indicated findings that include teachers' and principals' descriptions of discriminatory behavior and bullying incidences observed, supporting Muslim students through intervention and documentation, school district leadership support through training, understanding of students' cultural beliefs as part of inclusion and diversity in school, and being a role model leader. The findings in this study could benefit all the school stakeholders' understanding of how to continuously support all students targeted due to their cultural practices during teaching and learning procedures. The recommendations for future research suggestions are made in the discussion of findings section. [The dissertation citations contained here are published with the permission of ProQuest LLC.
