Zimmerman, Donald W.; Williams, Richard H. – Psychometrika, 1982
Formulas for the standard error of measurement of three measures of change (simple differences; residualized difference scores; and a measure introduced by Tucker, Damarin, and Messick) are derived. A practical guide for determining the relative error of the three measures is developed. (Author/JKS)

Clarkson, D. B.; Jennrich, R. I. – Psychometrika, 1980
A jackknife-like procedure is developed for producing standard errors of estimate in maximum likelihood factor analysis. Unlike earlier methods based on information theory, the procedure developed is computationally feasible on larger problems. Examples are given to demonstrate the feasibility of the method. Hutchinson, J. Wesley; Mungale, Amitabh – Psychometrika, 1997
A nonmetric algorithm, pairwise partitioning, is developed to identify feature-based similarity structures. Presents theorems about the validity of the features identified by the algorithm, and reports results of Monte Carlo simulations that estimate the probabilities of identifying valid features for different feature structures and amounts of…

Spence, Ian – Psychometrika, 1972
Discusses the different strategies employed by three practical nonmetric multidimensional scaling algorithms using Monte Carlo techniques. (Author/RK)
