Dreams Memories & Photography
Young, Bernard
SchoolArts: The Art Education Magazine for Teachers, v111 n6 p19-21 Feb 2012
Photography students spend a considerable amount of time working on technical issues in shooting, composing, editing, and processing prints. Another aspect of their learning should include the conception and communication of their ideas. A student's memories and dreams can serve as motivation to create images in visual art. Some artists claim that some of their greatest works have been conceived in their dreams or in creating images from memories. In this lesson, students use their memories and dreams to create images in photography. (Contains 1 online resource.)
