Science and Children, 1981
"Accents on Science" is a new K-6 text which includes pupils' and teachers' editions, activity book (pupil and teacher), and evaluation programs. Content is drawn from life, physical, and earth sciences. "The Way We Are" is a kit of free materials on human sexuality for the emerging adolescent. (DS)

Compared formal science scope/sequence with curriculum as it was taught in Little Rock (Arkansas) classrooms. Elementary teachers (N=126) were given a list of 273 concepts and asked if a topic was a significant part of their instruction and how much time was spent teaching it.
