Research investigated children's sex role self-concepts and the relationship between sex role self-concept and general self-concept, occupational stereotyping, television viewing frequency, and parent-rated behaviors. Most children's sex role self-concepts corresponded to biological sex. Androgynous children did not differ from other children on the variables examined. (Author/MJL)
