Skuja, Andris – Small Group Behavior, 1982
Describes use of the Tavistock model for studying group relations to teach alcoholism counselors group process. Counselors (N=32) participated in weekend study groups. An informal follow-up evaluation consisted of a reaction paper, oral discussions, and a questionnaire. Counselors' evaluations were predominantly positive. (RC)

Evaluated the effectiveness of a health education group for older adults (N=20) conducted by social work students. Results showed insignificant findings: neither level of essential knowledge or mental health status improved. However, subjects already had high levels of health knowledge. (JAC)
