Stewart, Robert A. C. – Social Behavior and Personality, 1974
Because of the still imperfectly understood basic factor structure of the MMPI, a Principal Components Analysis and Varimax Rotation was conducted on the MMPI item responses of 50 female undergraduate students of Education at Massey University. Eight factors were extracted. (Author)

Four groups of Ss, ranging from 11 and 12 year-olds to 14 and 15 year-olds, were tested on the Junior P.Q., and on an anonymous self-report questionnaire. Results indicate that Eysenck's theory of antisocial behavior is capable of predictions concerning the range of misbehavior engaged in by secondary school girls. (Author)

White, C. J. Mower – Social Behavior and Personality, 1977
A sample of 72 Ss, of whom half were cognitively complex and half cognitively simple, made predictions about unknown relations in four-person social structures. Structures differed in the number of relations given. Cognitively simple Ss tended to make predictions based on consideration of fewer relations in the social structure. (Author)

High and low socially anxious women were given identical feedback about their personality traits after a brief social interaction with a male confederate. The male confederate was trained to respond positively to half and negatively to half. High socially anxious subjects had more accurate memory for negative information about themselves. (Author)

Male and female subjects in a "computer dating" study completed a sexual experience questionnaire as well as attitudinal and experiential questionnaires. The sexual experiences for both sexes were demonstrated to be cumulative and follow a fixed pattern but the sequence of sexual experiences differed for males and females. (Author)

Female college students were selected on the basis of their scores on the Manifest Anxiety Scale. The subjects worked either alone or in pairs. As predicted, greater freedom was attributed to the communicatee (1) when the reaction to the communication was favorable, and (2) when a subsequent communication was to be directed toward the same communicatee.
