Describes the implementation of a collaborative discharge planning program for a chronic psychiatric population. Emphasizes the importance of good communication between patient and professionals. This article describes the author's experience in employing the fishbowl technique in group therapy with inmates at El Reno Federal Reformatory. Results indicate that this technique can be employed successfully in a correctional environment. (Author/HMV)

In an effort to involve the parents of institutionalized children in the life of the institution and the child, parents were invited to clinical team meetings involving their child. Responses were positive on the part of the parents. (Author/HMV)
