Experienced and effective elementary physical education teachers are continually searching for new ideas to liven up their content. Holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas provide opportunities to integrate creative, theme-oriented lessons into the curriculum. In addition to more traditional holidays, unique holidays each month can also be celebrated with creative activities to motivate both students and teachers. Since they are not as familiar or easily accessed, the aim of this article is to provide elementary physical education activities and ideas for these holidays from a variety of resources. This article is part two of a two-part series and includes activities for September to December, as a follow-up to part one which focused on the months of January to May.
