Assessed the success of an Upward Bound program by increasing achievement and college attendance. Results indicated significant gains in both language arts and quantitative skills. This study surveyed 850 students and 150 faculty advisers in one undergraduate college in order to determine the amount and nature of student-faculty contacts and referrals to other student personnel agencies.
