An ACE-sponsored proposed code of "Fair Practice for Postsecondary Institutions" to articulate some general principles of fair practice and their applicability to major areas of institution-student relations is presented. In response to the Bakke decision, it is suggested that efforts must be made to enlarge and improve the pool of qualified minority applicants to colleges and professional schools.
