Dedrick, Robert F.; And Others – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1997
Confirmatory factor analysis was used to evaluate the factor structure of the eight cross-informant scales of the Child Behavior Checklist (T. M. Aschenbach, 1991) using data from 631 youth ages 8 to 18. Results support Aschenbach's eight- correlated-factor model and the construct validity of the measure's scores. (SLD)

Phelps, Susan B.; Jarvis, Patricia A. – Journal of Youth and Adolescence, 1994
Reported stressors and patterns of coping strategies of 484 high school students were studied through their responses on the COPE Inventory and other measures. Results support the measure's internal consistency but suggest significant gender differences and four factors among the subscales. Implications for the instruments' use with adolescents…

Baker, Robert L.; And Others – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1991
The utility of teacher ratings of student academic performance and psychosocial behaviors as technically sound indirect measures of student outcomes was demonstrated in a long-term study of the effects of background variables on a cohort of Danish children (n=350). The Baker-Mednick Teacher Rating Form was developed for this purpose. (SLD)
