After the Yom Kippur War, 14 of the 18 values in the Rokeach Terminal Value Survey increased in importance for female Israeli students. Attitudes toward the war itself did not change. It is concluded that a distinction should be made between relative and absolute importance of values. (Author/CP)

This study of Israeli youths' attitudes toward the Arab-Israeli conflict found that youthful opinions stemmed not from a single, coherent attitude but instead were affected by specific issues.
