Outlines the costs for self-instructional packs consisting of files of offprints, original materials, and small publications at a university library. Costs for the use of videocartridges as self-instructional materials in the library are analyzed. A realistic cost per-student-use is detailed for internal productions, BBC, and Open University off-air productions, and other university productions.
