Measuring Change in Openness: Behavioral Assessment Techniques and the Problem of the Examiner

Two self-report measures of openness and two behavioral measures of openness were administered to 50 subjects prior to and immediately following one of four treatment procedures. Contrary to prediction, none of the measures indicated an increase in openness for those subjects who had undergone openness-promoting treatments. (Author)
