A survey of 344 college students revealed 36.71 percent reported having used minor tranquilizers. Among those who acquired tranquilizers by their own prescription, the vast majority used them from others' prescriptions or black market sources, used them for pleasure. (Author)

Ex-smokers (N = 61) who had stopped smoking as part of a televised "clinic" were assigned to either a tape-reinforcement or nonreinforcement condition and were followed up a month later. Changes in imitative behavior of two preschool children with highly oppositional behaviors were examined as a function of adult models' use of differential attention and time-out. Results showed that subjects expected alcohol to affect other people more than themselves for both positive and negative effects.
