The Canadian Association of Business Education Teachers (CABET) was established in 1971 to develop and improve business education as well as act as a coordinating body for business education activities and information dissemination. Some of the major purposes and principles of CABET are outlined. (EC)

A comparison of 1980 and 1987 follow-up studies of graduates of a bachelor of secretarial arts degree program indicates that significant change has occurred: fewer women are entering the business education teaching profession, salaries have improved, and the "office of the future" has become the office of 1990. Anderson, Robert – Canadian Vocational Journal, 1976
A cooperative program for training business education teachers was established by the Lethbridge Community College and the University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge, Canada. The program combines courses from both institutions and leads to a Bachelor of Education degree. (EC)
