Effect of Previous Clerkship Experience on Readiness for Basic Medicine Clerkship

Findings indicate that students with previous clerkships gain no significant advantage upon entering the Basic Medicine Clerkship over those without clerkship experience. It was also concluded it was not necessary to modify the objectives of the clerkship for those with previous clerkship experience. (Author/PG)
