Examines the elements of meaningful community service as identified by the Campus Outreach Opportunity League (COOL) and explores how college activities offices might incorporate them into their service projects. (EV)

A proposed model for college student leadership training, based on the emergent paradigm, accommodates the diversity of both traditional and nontraditional student populations while meeting various student needs.
