Evaluates effect of the counselor's level of anxiety on students taking part in test anxiety desensitization workshops. Results indicate the number of sessions attended by students is inversely related to the counselor's level of anxiety. Implications for counselor screening in desensitization work are mentioned. A group of college males who had reported themselves unable to interact with women were contacted and asked to record every interaction for a week. Following this period a series of behavioral tests was given. After pretesting shy subjects were randomly assigned to a control group or a treatment group. Treatment improved social skills.
