Costa, Sebastiano; Ingoglia, Sonia; Inguglia, Cristiano; Liga, Francesca; Lo Coco, Alida; Larcan, Rosalba – Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, 2018
The purpose of this multistudy report was to adapt the Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction and Frustration Scale (BPNSFS) to the Italian context. Two studies were conducted. Mykota, David B. – Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology - TOJET, 2015
The purpose of the present study is to conduct an external replication into the multi-dimensionality of social presence as measured by the Computer-Mediated Communication Questionnaire (Tu, 2005). Tokar, David M.; Buchanan, Taneisha S.; Subich, Linda M.; Hall, Rosalie J.; Williams, Christine M. – Journal of Vocational Behavior, 2012
The underlying factor structure of the Learning Experiences Questionnaire (LEQ; Schaub, 2004) was examined using data from 742 male and female college-age respondents. The LEQ items reflect a variety of learning experiences (generated based on Bandura's (1986, 1997) four sources of self-efficacy perceptions) that might occur in each of Holland's…

Two studies were conducted to validate the Chinese version of the Career Decision-Making Profiles (CDMP) questionnaire, a multidimensional measure of the way individuals make career decisions. Results of Study 1 showed that after dropping 1 item from the original CDMP scale, the 11-factor structure was supported among Chinese college students (N =…

Jegerski, Jane A.; Upshaw, Harry S. – 1984
Empathy, a basis for altruistic motivation, is viewed as a developmental process by Hoffman and others. Current measures of empathy, such as the Davis Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI), have been analyzed by exploratory factor analytic methods which do not allow for the testing of a developmental model of the simplex form. This study was…

Marsh, Herbert W. – Journal of Educational Psychology, 1991
Empirical support was derived for the multidimensionality of students' evaluations of teaching effectiveness on the Students' Evaluations of Educational Quality (SEEQ) through investigation of the factor structure of the SEEQ from 2 samples of 500 classes. Applications of confirmatory factor analysis and hierarchical factor analysis are…

Pearson, Judy C. – 1980
The psychometric adequacy of three sex role instruments was determined by performing a factor analysis on the items in the Bem Sex Role Inventory, the Personal Attributes Questionnaire, and Heilbrun's Masculinity and Feminity Subscales. Subjects were 400 college students who responded to 116 bipolar items from the three instruments. The eleven…

Abrami, Philip C.; d'Apollonia, Sylvia – Journal of Educational Psychology, 1991
Limitations of the confirmatory factor analysis conducted by H. W. Marsh to demonstrate the multidimensionality of a rating form to assess student evaluation of teaching effectiveness are discussed. A secondary analysis suggests that dimensionality is not stable across solutions and a global factor can be retrieved. (SLD)
