Tested the hypothesis that religious intrinsicness predicts failure to confront existential problems and an interactional orientation promotes the opposite influence. Results from 94 male and 107 female college students failed to support hypothesis that orthodox, intrinsic individuals are rigid in their approach to existential questions in life. (BH)
