Trends in Enrollment and Degrees Granted 1948-1987. State University of New York. Office of Institutional Research Report Number 7-88.
State Univ. of New York, Albany. Central Staff Office of Institutional Research.
This State University of New York (SUNY) report is a reissue of its earlier "Trends in Enrollment and Degrees Granted" and covers the period from 1948-1987. Its two major sections focus on credit course enrollment (headcount) and degrees granted. Credit course enrollment provides headcount enrollment data for the individual SUNY institutions and institutional types as well as systemwide data. Its enrollment data are for the fall term of each year and are arrayed by student load. Degrees granted are also reported for the system as a whole, as well as for individual institutions and institutional types. The degrees-granted data cover all degrees awarded over a 12-month period. Information is categorized as follows: State University totals; State University totals excluding community colleges sponsored by the New York City Board of Higher Education; state-operated/funded institutions; university centers; university colleges; health sciences centers; specialized colleges; statutory colleges; colleges of technology/agriculture; all other community colleges; and associated colleges. Appended are a map of State University institutions, a chronology of dates of establishment of institutions of the State University of New York, and a publications list of the Central Staff Office of Institutional Research.
