Preretirement characteristics, postretirement attitudes, and retirement satisfaction were examined for (N=1511) retirees. Multivariate analysis indicated that retirement style was a significant predictor of overall retirement satisfaction, and the subscales of satisfaction with activities, and satisfaction with finances.
