Presents utilization rates as well as the results of psychiatric tests on older and younger populations of psychiatric patients and addicts in Iran. Data showed that the elderly proportionately use psychiatric and drug abuse services much less frequently than the younger population. (Author/RC)

Tested whether the aged status in America results in distrust and despair with the social order (anomia). A multivariate regression analysis utilizing data on 354 men aged 40 and older showed no relationship between age or other indicators of life chances or anomia, net of education and/or verbal intelligence.
