The scales of the Self-Directed Search (SDS) correlate with the scales of the Kuder, the Thurstone Temperament Schedule, the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test, and the Minnesota Paper Form Board in predictable ways across three small samples of high school students. Changing from the SVIB to the SCII increased the probability of machine-scoring errors. This study examined the accuracy and consistency of SCII profile scores for three commercial scoring agencies. Results indicated improved performance compared with previous studies and suggested that scoring errors should be minimal for the SCII. (Author)

The Career Maturity Inventory Attitude Scale materials were found to provide very little useful information concerning the instrument's reliability. The data that were interpretable showed the scale to have quite modest reliability. (Author)
