The predictive validity and factor structure of the ABC Inventory were analyzed by comparing scores obtained by preschoolers on this test with scores on the Metropolitan Reading Test. The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children was administered to 80 retarded youngsters from ages 6 to 16 years. The factors found for the retarded children are similar to those found for normal children. This study tested the relative effects of Crystal and Bolles's life/work-planning process on factors related to vocational choice: aspirations, expectations, resident skills, and preferences. A 60-item short form of the Mnnesota Teacher Attitude Inventory (MTAI) was compared to the present 150-item form to determine whether the same constructs were common to both sets of items.
