A Review of the Factor Structure of the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire and the Clinical Analysis Questionnaire.

Research relating to the factor structure of the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) and the Clinical Analysis Questionnaire is reviewed. Different opinions about the factors measured by the 16PF are discussed. Focusing on the second-order factor level could eliminate problems with the instruments' reliability. (SLD)

Comparison of Australian and American Norms for the School Motivation Analysis Test.

The appropriateness of American norms for the School Motivation Analysis Test (SMAT) for use in Australia was studied, using 277 Australian secondary school students (99 males and 178 females). The Standardisation of the Work Aspect Preference Scale for an Australian Adult Sample.

An attempt was made to standardize the Work Aspect Preference Scale for an Australian work sample, including 1,250 employed adults (46 percent females and 54 percent males). Use of percentile norms--developed for 3 age cohorts (20 years and younger, 21-30 years, and over 30 years) and by sex--is discussed. (SLD)

Raven's Progressive Matrices and the Simpson Adult Vocabulary Scale were administered to 400 Australian hospitalized adults without psychiatric or neurological impairment in 4 age groups from 30 to 69 years.
