How to Motivate Students Using Augmented Reality in the Mathematics Classroom? An Experimental Study
Wanda Nugroho Yanuarto; Elfis Suanto; Ira Hapsari; Aulia Nisa Khusnia – Mathematics Teaching Research Journal, 2024
An Augmented Reality (AR) approach to creating a maths education app is the focus of this research. To turn the 2D floor plan into 3D objects, students will use their mobile devices to scan the cards. Students can have a better understanding of the 3D shape from various angles by interacting with virtual 3D items. Students can gain a deeper…

Burt, Tim; Butcher, Dave – Journal of Geography in Higher Education, 1986
The design and use of a simple computer model which simulates a hillslope hydrology is described in a teaching context. The model shows a relatively complex environmental system can be constructed on the basis of a simple but realistic theory, thus allowing students to simulate the hydrological response of real hillslopes. Ferree, Rob A.; And Others – Journal of Geological Education, 1988
Describes a deterministic computer model that incorporates: (1) initial framework composition; (2) abrasion factors for quartz, feldspar, and rock fragments; and (3) a fragmentation ratio for rock fragments to simulate the recycling of coastal sands by rivers and beaches. (TW)
