Huntington II Simulation Program - POP. Student Workbook, Teacher's Guide, and Resource Handbook.
Braun, Ludwig; Friedland, James
Described is the population growth computer model "POP." This program is designed to allow a student with little mathematical background to explore various simple mathematical models of population growth. Student exercises revolve around the growth of a gypsy-moth population. Three variations of population modeling are included in POP: POP 1, simple exponential growth; POP 2, including an environmental limiting factor; and POP 3, a model with an environmental limiting factor and other modifications.
