Larson McNamara, Mary Lou; Bahr, Howard M. – Journal of Marriage and the Family, 1980
Data from married Utah residents were used to assess a model of marital role satisfaction. Conclusions suggest that a roles approach in evaluating global satisfaction is appropriate. Hudis, Paula M. – Journal of Marriage and the Family, 1976
This paper explores the earnings consequences of women's competing familial and work commitments. The analyses support the conclusion that currently-married women receive smaller economic benefits from schooling and occupational status because of interrupted labor force participation and familial constraints. Edwards, John N.; Brauburger, Mary Ball – Journal of Marriage and the Family, 1973
Preliminary findings are presented bearing on several hypotheses derived from exchange theory. No significant relationships are found, however, between key structural variables and conflict. (Author)
