Examined relationship between cultural dissimilarity and duration, satisfaction, and perceived effectiveness of counseling in treatment dyads that varied race of counselor and client. Results indicated White counselors provided fewer sessions than non-White counselors and non-White clients expressed less satisfaction with counseling, regardless of counselor race. (Author/PAS)
