Examined influences on perceptions of counselor credibility in 127 Mexican American community college students who responded to written and tape recorded counselor information, and completed the Counselor Effectiveness Rating Scale. Results showed attitude similarity rather than ethnicity influenced students' perceptions. (JAC)
