The Effects of a Multi-Faceted Intervention on the Offense Activities of Juvenile Probationers.
Minor, Kevin I.; Elrod, H. Preston
Journal of Offender Counseling, Services & Rehabilitation, v15 n2 p87-108 1990
Investigated effectiveness of expanded juvenile court services (job preparation, outdoor experiential, and family skill building components) program versus traditional probation supervision in reducing probationer offense activities of adolescent offenders (n=45). Found intervention failed to yield desired effects although experimental subjects with extensive crime backgrounds displayed fewer offenses during follow up than comparable control subjects.
