This project, located in a large metropolitan school district, concerns the operation and evaluation of three Mathematics Demonstration Centers. In the first phase, directions are given about the necessary information to be gathered by the evaluating organization, (e.g. the school district administrative organization, size of school district, description of project, description of project schools, the project organization.) The following phase is a chronological listing of activities that take place during the actual evaluation process, including the selection of experimental and comparison groups, selection of experimental teachers, compilation of information on pupils, preparation of progress reports, and design of the final review report.
