Mohler, James L. – Journal of Industrial Teacher Education, 2007
This contribution presents two major findings from a qualitative investigation into spatial ability. Braukmann, James; Pedras, Melvin J. – Journal of Industrial Teacher Education, 1993
A control group of 17 engineering students produced 2- and 3-dimensional shapes with manual drafting tools; an experimental group of 12 used computer-assisted drafting. From pre/posttest data, it appeared that computer models were no better at improving spatial visualization or orthographic projection skills. (SK)

McElroy, Jack E.; Thomas, Edward G. – Journal of Industrial Teacher Education, 1975
Two approaches are compared in the Kentucky study: (1) the in-school, traditional, approach and (2) the cooperative work experience approach. Pretest and post-test scores were evaluated, indicating that both approaches were equally effective. (MW)
