Various reasons were explored to explain why individuals cease to participate in ongoing sports activities. The major reasons given were: (1) changes in the physical ability of the individual; and (2) changes in the relationships between the individual and the sports environment. (JN)

Reports results of a study to determine to what extent enrollees in adult evening classes perceived how their future student role would relate to class attendance.
