The two purposes of this directory are: 1) to compile a list of all public libraries in Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States which circulate nonprint materials and 2) to develop, through the directory, better communication of professional data between such libraries. Each library is listed alphabetically under state and city; complete addresses are provided. Also, in many cases, the name of the librarian and the telephone number of the library are also included. The directory will be revised and updated every two years. (SH)
