Dumbleton, Paul – British Journal of Special Education, 1990
The paper argues that education is essentially the same activity for all people with or without disabilities. The argument is founded on John Dewey's theory of education, with its emphasis on the process of making sense of experience, and Paulo Friere's view of education as liberating people to become more fully human.
