This document is the reply of the Eugene school district's research, development, and evaluation division to portions of a citizen task force report on small schools in the district. The analysis takes issue with certain findings concerning population and enrollment trends, economics, program capacity, staffing, and the criteria for the evaluation of low enrollment schools.
