Hale, Robert L.; And Others – Psychology in the Schools, 1978

Meyers, C. Edward; And Others – Journal of School Psychology, 1978
A study of cumulative records and psychologist files in 12 representative districts permitted a comparison of the EMR placement of those later decertified (D) with matched nondecertified (EMR). Records showed no systematic differences between D and EMR groups in pre-EMR reasons for referral nor in teacher marks. (Author)

Quattrocchi, Mary; Sherrets, Steven – Psychology in the Schools, 1980
Although the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised (WISC-R) involves modifications and a complete restandardization, the literature suggests that it remains very similar in nature to its predecessor, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC). Individuals perform on the WISC-R largely the same as they do on the WISC. (Author)

Lawrence, Jeanette A. – Journal of Moral Education, 1980
Fourteen moral judgment intervention studies are reviewed and evaluated to address two questions: "Is it possible to stimulate moral judgment development in an educational setting?" and "Does the Defining Issues Test index such moral judgment changes?" Munby, Hugh – 1995
A previous paper argued that issues of validity in self-study research are first and foremost moral arguments about educational practice. It also asserted that if a self-study is to be valid, then the educational merit of the practice studied must be appropriate. Considering the responses of symposium participants to these assertions has resulted…
