Investigated a consultation technique designed to increase the acceptability of an intervention with 37 elementary and secondary teachers. Hypothesized intervention acceptability would be increased using individualized intervention rationales that match consultee's perceptions. Results suggest that a matching rationale was associated with greater acceptance of the intervention than was a mismatched rationale. (Author/ABL)
