An analysis of the library holdings and text materials typically available to secondary students on the subject of East Central Europe indicates that the study of Russia predominates over consideration of the many other nationalities involved. Ways to identify and emphasize Polish, Slovak, Ukarainian, and other cultures are suggested. (JH)
