Compared twenty groups of Australian children (N=132) of different social class, ethnic, national, and regional backgrounds on their moral stances on "lying" and "killing" and their reasons for those stances. There was an impressive consistency in moral attitudes and reasons across children of different social backgrounds. (JAC)

Davids, Leo – Adolescence, 1982
Using information gathered from a computer dating service, examined religiosity and ethnicity, substance abuse, and sexual attitudes of Jewish college students. Results showed Jewish identity was independent of religiosity, males were higher on sexual liberalism, and chemical/drug abuse was minimal. (JAC)

Surveyed alcohol use patterns among Mexican American (N=402) and Anglo American (N=116) college students. Results indicated significant differences in whether or not students drank, with whom they drank, how frequently, where, and what they drank. Found ethnicity had the strongest influence. (Author/RC)
