The Illinois Test of Pscyholinguistic Abilities was administered to 167 normal intelligence children (mean age 112 months) and then factor analyzed to determine construct validity and the extent to which each subtest measures a discrete combination of the psycholinguistic dimensions of level, process, and channel.
