Schaefer, Charles; And Others – Psychology in the Schools, 1975
The inter-rater and test-retest reliabilities of the (DESB) Rating Scale were found to be satisfactory when averaged over two raters. Two separate factor analyses of the eleven subscales revealed three broadband factors: Classroom Management Problem, Self-Reliant Learner, and Seeks Teacher Approval. (Author)

Scores of 1,200 subjects on the Test Anxiety Scale were factor analyzed. Both cognitive "worry" and "emotionality" items loaded strongly on the first factor, which appears to reflect worry about oneself and one's performance on tests and a wide variety of physical and emotional consequences of this intense worry. Ambulatory geriatric patients (N=370) were rated on the Geriatric Rating Scale and results factor analyzed. The scale was found to be composed of three factors: Withdrawal/Apathy, Antisocial Disruptive Behavior, and Deficits in Activities of Daily Living. This study was conducted on the Counselor Evaluation Rating Scale (CERS). Ratings on 404 students from approximately 35 different supervisors were factor-analyzed using an oblique solution with rotation to simple loadings.
