Investigates differences in home environments between children from single- and two-parent homes. Data indicated similarities on all subscales between groups studied. Quality of the mother-child relationship in homes with different structures is similar one year following divorce, and researchers may look elsewhere for developmental differences found between the groups in previous studies.
